This SD-WAN lab practical will show you how to configure Feature Templates for OSPF for VPN0. You can practice along with this practical using our SD-WAN virtual lab.
1. Configure OSPF Template with the following parameters to be used by all Branch vEdge cloud devices for VPN0
● Template Name: BR-VE-VPNINT-VPN0-G0
● Description: BR-VE-VPNINT-VPN0-G0-Description
● Basic Configuration:
✓ Shutdown-> Global: No
✓ Interface Name-> Global: ge0/0
✓ IPv4 Address-> Static-> Device Specific
● Tunnel
✓ Tunnel Interface-> Global: On
✓ Color-> Global: BIZ-Internet
● Allow Service
✓ All-> Global: On
✓ NETCONF-> Global: On
✓ SSH-> Global: On
2. Configure VPN 0 Interface Template with the following parameters to be used by all Branch vEdge cloud devices for Interface G0/1
● Template Name: BR-VE-VPNINT-VPN0-G1
● Description: BR-VE-VPNINT-VPN0-G1-Description
● Basic Configuration
✓ Shutdown-> Global: No
✓ Interface Name-> Global: Ge0/1
✓ IPv4 Address-> Static-> Device Specific
● Tunnel
✓ Tunnel Interface-> Global: On
✓ Color-> Global: MPLS
● Allow Service
✓ All-> Global: On
✓ OSPF-> Global: On
✓ NETCONF-> Global: On
✓ SSH-> Global: On
3. Configure VPN512 Interface Template with the following parameters to be used by all Branch vEdge cloud devices for Interface Eth0
● Template Name: BR-VE-VPNINT-VPN512-Eth0
● Description: BR-VE-VPNINT-VPN512-Eth0-Description
● Basic Configuration
✓ Shutdown-> Global: No
✓ Interface Name-> Global: Eth0
✓ IPv4 Address-> Dynamic
VPN 0 Interface Template – G0/0
Configure VPN0 interface template for vEdge cloud devices. Go to vManage and navigate to Configuration-> Templates-> Feature and then click on Add Templates
VPN 0 Interface Template – G0/1
Configure VPN0 interface template for vEdge cloud devices. Go to vManage and navigate to Configuration-> Templates-> Feature and then click on Add Templates
On left panel scroll down under select devices select “vEdge Cloud” and on the right panel go to VPN section and click on “VPN Interface Ethernet”
Here fill the template name and its description as per task requirement
Under basic configuration select Global and no for the interface shutdown option and also provide the interface name as Ge0/1 under global. Select device specific static IP address.
Now go to Tunnel and select Global and on. Also select Global and MPLS for color.
Under Tunnel scroll down to Allow Service and select Global->On for All, NETCONF, OSPF and SSH and click on Save to continue
VPN0 interface G0/1 template is created and can be seen here on templates
VPN 512 Interface Template – Eth0
