This SD-WAN lab practical will show you how to configure Feature Templates for OSPF for VPN0. You can practice along with this practical using our SD-WAN virtual lab.

1. Configure a Device Template with the following parameters for vSmart cloud devices
● Template Name: vSmart-TEMP
● Description: vSmart-TEMP-Description
● Basic Information
✓ System-> vSmart-System
● Transport & Management
✓ VPN 0: vSmart-VPN-VPN0
✓ VPN Interface: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN0-E1
✓ VPN 512: vSmart-VPN-VPN512
✓ VPN Interface: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN512-E0
2. Attach vSmart cloud device to the Device Template “vSmart TEMP” with the following variable parameters
● Interface IP for Eth1: 200.1.1.3/24
● Interface IP for Eth0:192.168.10.3/24
● Hostname: vSmart
● System IP: 200.1.1.13
● Site ID: 1

Configure a Device Template with the following parameters for vSmart this is the path to create the Template Setting>Configuration >Templates >Device >Create Template

Click on Create Template and select from Feature Template

Fill the details as given in task- Template Name: vSmart-TEMP Description: vSmart-TEMP-Description

Basic Information select as vSmart-System

Now select Transport & Management VPN and fill the parameters- VPN 0: vSmart-VPN-VPN0 VPN Interface: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN0-E1 VPN 512: vSmart-VPN-VPN512 VPN Interface: vSmart-VPNINT-VPN512-E0. Then click on Create to continue

Here our vSmart-TMP Device Template is created.

Click on three dots and select Attach Devices

Select vSmart from the right panel and click on arrow as shown below.

Click on Attach

Click on three dots and select Edit Device Template

Fill the details as given- Interface IP for Eth1: 200.1.1.3/24 Interface IP for Eth0:192.168.10.3/24 Hostname: vSmart System IP: 200.1.1.13 Site ID: 1 then click on Update to continue

Click on Next

Click on vSmart-Temp configuration and verify the VPN0 and VPN 512 configuration then click on Configure Devices

Now our status is a success with a green sign which means we successfully puss the configuration
