Terms and Conditions for Students

1. Enrollment and Payment:

  • By enrolling in courses, bundle courses, or other products available on the Uninets eLearning platform, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Course prices are clearly indicated on each course page. Applicable taxes, such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), are already included on the listed price. All payments are final and non-refundable, except in cases where a live online course is rescheduled for more than two times by the instructor, and the student chooses not to attend the rescheduled session. Exchanges for certain products, such as online courses, are allowed on a case-by-case basis and must be requested within 3 days from the purchase date.

2. Course Access and Materials:

  • Upon successful payment, the enrolled courses and products will be accessible through the student's profile dashboard. The duration of access to course materials will be as outlined in the specific course details or as per the course schedule.

3. Forum Participation:

  • Students are encouraged to participate in forum discussions, create topics, and ask questions related to the course materials. All forum interactions should adhere to respectful and constructive communication standards. Offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content will not be tolerated.

4. Reviews and Ratings:

  • Students are welcome to leave reviews and ratings for courses they have completed. These reviews should be honest and reflect the student's genuine learning experience.
  • The platform reserves the right to moderate and remove reviews that violate platform guidelines.

5. Intellectual Property:

  • All course materials, videos, documents, and resources provided by instructors are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Students are prohibited from sharing, distributing, or reproducing course materials without explicit permission from the instructor and the platform.

6. Code of Conduct:

  • Students are expected to adhere to a respectful code of conduct during their interactions on the platform. This includes refraining from disruptive behavior, harassment, or any action that violates platform policies.

7. Termination of Access:

  • Uninets reserves the right to terminate a student's access to courses and the platform in cases of violation of these terms, abusive behavior, or any action that negatively affects the learning experience of others.

Terms and Conditions for Instructors

1. Profile and Course Creation:

  • Instructors are required to create a comprehensive and accurate profile, including educational background, professional experience, certifications, blog articles, and meeting availability. Instructors can create and schedule training courses, self-paced video courses, lab workbooks, and virtual labs. These offerings should accurately reflect the content, quality, and schedule outlined during course creation.

2. Pricing and Commission:

  • Instructors have the authority to set prices for their courses, products and meetings. Upon purchase, a X% (agreed value) commission will be applied to the price, and applicable taxes will be added. The instructor's share will be eligible for payout upon approval from Uninets. Instructors can request a payout when the minimum payable amount reaches INR 15000 and only after minimum 1 month of video course or meeting or product sold. In case of live course, instructor can request a payout only after 1 month of successful completing the course.

3. Engagement and Support:

  • Instructors are expected to actively participate in forum discussions, providing valuable insights, answers, and engagement with students. Instructors are required to provide timely and accurate support to students through the platform's built-in support system, addressing technical queries and providing assistance related to course content.

4. Quality and Reviews:

  • Instructors are encouraged to maintain a high standard of course quality and to provide accurate, up-to-date, and relevant information in their course materials. It is recommended that instructors strive to receive positive reviews (minimum 4 stars) for their courses. Courses with consistently low ratings (below 5 stars) may result in the removal of the instructor from the platform.

5. Intellectual Property:

  • Instructors retain the full rights to their course materials, videos, documents, and resources. By publishing content on the platform, instructors grant Uninets a license to distribute, display, and promote the content.

6. Code of Conduct:

  • Instructors are expected to adhere to a professional code of conduct during interactions on the platform. This includes maintaining respectful communication, refraining from harassment, and complying with all platform policies.

7. Termination of Partnership:

  • Uninets reserves the right to terminate the partnership with an instructor if there is a violation of these terms, unethical behavior, or actions that adversely affect the platform's reputation.


Instructor Terms and Agreement for Using UniNets Platform for Lab Course Development and Commercial Sale


This Agreement ("Agreement") is made between UniNets Company ("UniNets") and the Instructor ("Instructor").

WHEREAS:

UniNets offers a platform for instructors to develop and prepare lab courses that can be made available for commercial sale to users.

The Instructor seeks to use the UniNets platform to create, develop, and commercially sell lab courses.

NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:


1. Access to UniNets Platform

UniNets grants the Instructor access to its platform for the purpose of developing and preparing lab courses. The platform provides the tools and resources needed to build, configure, and manage lab environments.

2. Use of Proprietary Images

● Prohibited Use: The Instructor is strictly prohibited from using any proprietary or copyrighted images, including but not limited to software and operating system images, without proper licenses or permissions.

● Responsibility: If the Instructor uploads or uses any copyrighted images in their lab courses, they assume full responsibility for obtaining the necessary licenses or permissions from the respective vendors or copyright holders.

● Indemnification: The Instructor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UniNets from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the unauthorized use of copyrighted images.

3. Development of Lab Courses

The Instructor is responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining lab courses on the UniNets platform. Lab courses should be original, and the Instructor must ensure that all content used in the development of the lab courses complies with copyright laws and vendor agreements. The Instructor may use open-source or freely available resources in lab courses, provided they adhere to the respective licenses.

4. Commercial Sale of Lab Courses

The Instructor may offer their developed lab courses for commercial sale to users on the UniNets platform. UniNets reserves the right to review and approve all lab courses before they are made available for sale to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Pricing for the lab courses will be determined by the Instructor, subject to UniNets' review and approval.

5. Revenue Sharing

UniNets and the Instructor will agree on a revenue-sharing model for the sale of lab courses. The specifics of the revenue share will be outlined in a separate addendum or agreement. Payments to the Instructor will be made according to the terms agreed upon in the revenue-sharing agreement.

6. Instructor's Responsibilities 

● Compliance with Laws: The Instructor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and vendor licenses in relation to the development and sale of lab courses.

● Content Accuracy: The Instructor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of the lab courses.

Updates and Maintenance: The Instructor must regularly update and maintain lab courses to ensure they remain relevant and functional.

7. UniNets' Rights

UniNets reserves the right to remove or suspend any lab course that violates this Agreement or any applicable laws, regulations, or vendor licenses. UniNets may also terminate the Instructor's access to the platform for violations of this Agreement. 

8. Indemnification and Liability

● Indemnification: The Instructor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UniNets, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

● The Instructor's use of copyrighted images or content in lab courses.

● Any infringement or alleged infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.

● Limitation of Liability: UniNets shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the Instructor's use of the platform or the sale of lab courses.

9. Confidentiality

The Instructor agrees to keep all proprietary information related to the UniNets platform confidential and not to disclose it to any third party without UniNets' prior written consent. 

10. Termination

● Termination by UniNets: UniNets reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and the Instructor's access to the platform at any time, with or without cause.

● Termination by Instructor: The Instructor may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to UniNets. Upon termination, the Instructor must cease all use of the platform and remove any lab courses uploaded thereto.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination of this Agreement, the Instructor's right to sell lab courses on the UniNets platform will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws.

12. Acknowledgment

The Instructor acknowledges that they have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. The Instructor agrees that UniNets is not liable for any copyright infringement issues that may arise from the Instructor's use of images or content on the platform.

13. Acceptance

By using the UniNets platform to develop and sell lab courses, the Instructor agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
